Report: Patriots Ask Ochocinco To Restructure Deal
BOSTON (CBS) - In a sign that Chad Ochocinco may actually return to the New England Patriots next season, the team has asked him to restructure his contract.
According to Lizz Mullen of the Sports Business Journal, the Patriots have approached the receiver about restructuring his deal which will pay him a base salary of $3 million the next two seasons.
Ochocinco was a huge disappointment in his first season in New England, hauling in just 15 passes for 276 yards and one touchdown.
