Missing UNH Student May Have Died During Sex Encounter
BOSTON (CBS/AP) – The University of New Hampshire student believed to have been killed a week ago may have died during a sexual encounter.
WBZ-TV has confirmed that police are investigating claims that Elizabeth Marriott was suffocated during a group sex encounter with Seth Mazzaglia and another woman.
Marriott, 19, of Westborough, Mass., was last seen alive Oct. 9 after attending an evening class in Durham.
Mazzaglia, 29, was charged Saturday with second-degree murder and is accused of killing her in his apartment that night.
Her body hasn't been found, but authorities have been searching the waters around Peirce Island in nearby Portsmouth.
Underwater cameras, sonar, and search dogs were brought in Tuesday.
