Report: Hornets Give Thibodeau A Deadline
ESPN reported on Wednesday that the New Orleans Hornets have given Celtics assistant Tom Thibodeau a deadline to accept an offer to become the team's head coach. If Thibodeau does not accept the position before Game 1 of the NBA finals on Thursday night, the Hornets have planned to offer the job to Portland Trail Blazers assistant Monty Williams. Thibodeau is reportedly also interested in the head coaching vacancies with the New Jersey Nets and Chicago Bulls.
