Report: Ellsbury, Yankees Agree To 7-Year, $153M Deal
BOSTON (CBS) - Free agent outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury has agreed to a deal with the New York Yankees.
Sources tell MLB insider Jon Heyman of CBS Sports that the deal is for seven years and $153 million.
Neither the Yankees nor Ellsbury's agent, Scott Boras, immediately confirmed a deal had been struck, but sources suggest there are only final details left to be ironed out.

The 30-year-old Ellsbury hit .298 for Boston in 134 regular season games, clubbing 172 hits and stealing 52 bases. He hit .344 in the postseason, scoring 14 runs in 16 playoff games for Boston.

The Red Sox extended a qualifying offer to Ellsbury, so the team will receive a compensatory draft pick if the deal is finalized.
