Report: Allen 'Torn' Over Celtics, Heat
BOSTON (CBS) - It's a decision everyone is waiting on, but reports say it's one Ray Allen is having a tough time making.
ESPN is reporting Allen is "torn" between choosing Boston or Miami, as the free agent left his Thursday meetings with the Heat without giving them an answer.

While the defending champs have been making a hard push for the 16-year veteran, Allen returning to the Celtics is still on the table, a source told ESPN. Not only can they offer him more money than the Heat (two-years, $12 million compared to Miami's mini mid-level at $3 million annually) but also might be tossing in a no-trade clause to sweeten the deal.
Allen has been part of trade rumors the past two years at the trade deadline, and a deal with Memphis was reportedly agreed upon last March. That deal fell through though, leading to some awkward times for the Celtics and Allen.

While it is likely Allen will be coming off the bench with either of the two teams, sources told ESPN the Celtics have a new plan to play Allen alongside Jason Terry, who verbally committed to the Celtics on Tuesday.
For Boston, the fact Allen left Miami is probably a good sign. It was long thought that his decision was already made, but many feel now it will be a decision the veteran takes his time making.
The Minnesota Timberwolves are also said to be interested in Allen, who will turn 37 before next season begins.
