Repairs Complete, Power Restored In Back Bay
BOSTON (CBS) - After a planned overnight blackout, power was restored Monday morning in the Back Bay.
The lights were turned off for several hours so NStar crews could repair a faulty cable that failed Sunday, knocking out electricity for several hours for about 12,000 customers.
The repair also means the Prudential tunnel on the Massachusetts Turnpike has reopened, a big relief for drivers heading into the city from the west.
