Guns, SUV linked to Mattapan murders found
Investigators say they're making progress in trying to solve the murders of four people Tuesday in Mattapan.
Mayor Tom Menino said late Thursday morning that authorities have located guns that may be linked to the attacks, thanks to some anonymous tips.
"That information has led us to different information that the police department's following through that led us to the guns just this morning," Menino said.
Those weapons are now being tested.
Commissioner Ed Davis tells WBZ NewsRadio Thursday that the vehicle seen driving away from Tuesday morning's shooting scene has been found.

There have been no arrests.
Police are also expected to execute a search warrant Thursday at the home of one of the victims, 21-year-old Sean "Simba" Martin, who lived just around the corner from the murder scene on Woolson Street.
Officers sealed off Martin's house on Sutton Street overnight.
Martin, his girlfriend 21-year-old Eyanna Flonory, her 2-year-old son Amani and 22-year-old Lavaughn Washum-Garrison were all killed in the attack.
A fifth victim, 32-year-old Marcus Hurd, is in critical condition.

Investigators suspect the motive for the shootings was a drug deal gone bad.
There was a report that Hurd used the SUV to drive to Mattapan and it was then stolen after the shooting.
"I know that fact has been reported in the media," Davis said, "but it's inappropriate for me to confirm that right now."
The commissoner said the public has been "extremely helpful in this investigation."

Despite saying "person," Davis would not confirm that they're only looking for one suspect in the shootings.
