Cook has started just one game against the Yankees over his 10-year career, allowing six runs on 12 hits over 5.2 innings pitched.

Lester has plenty of experience against the Yanks, going 8-4 with a 4.33 ERA in 18 career starts. He has had success in the new Yankee Stadium as well, going 1-0 in two starts allowing just one earned run over 15.2 innings pitched, striking out 16.
Doubront has the only Red Sox win against the Yankees this season, tossing 6.1 innings in Boston's 9-5 win over New York on July 7.
