Red Sox' Trade For Chris Sale Has David Ortiz Thinking
BOSTON (CBS) -- The Red Sox' acquisition of Chris Sale has the team and fans thinking about World Series titles in the near future.
It also has David Ortiz thinking. What about, the retired DH won't say. But it's hard not to see this reaction on Instagram as a hint that Ortiz may be having second thoughts about his retirement:
Ortiz's retirement became official on November 15. He said numerous times during his final season that his body has worn down and it's become too hard to get ready for a new season, so chances are he's just having a little bit of fun with Red Sox nation with that Instagram post.
But now that he's thinking, so too are Red Sox fans.
