Red Sox Return From All-Star Break With A Loss
The Red Sox were down six runs after the top of the first inning and lost to the Texas Rangers last night, 7-2 at Fenway Park. Nelson Cruz drove in 2 runs with a single in that first inning, had 3 RBI's in all, and Bengie Molina added a 2-run homer against Sox starter TimWakefield. He allowed all 7 runs in 2+ innings of work, and JD Drew and Bill Hall both homered in the loss. The 4 game series continues tonight with rookie lefty Felix Doubront opposing Colby Lewis.
