Red Sox Opening Day Lineup: Victorino Placed On DL, Nava Leading Off
BOSTON (CBS) -- It's opening day, and there's already a bit of a shuffle in the Boston Red Sox' lineup.
A hamstring injury has landed right fielder Shane Victorino on the disabled list, with Daniel Nava taking his spot in right field and leading off.
Victorino was placed on the DL retroactive to May 30, with Jackie Bradley Jr. being recalled from Triple-A Pawtucket. Victorino suffered the injury while running the bases in Saturday's Grapefruit League finale against the Minnesota Twins.
Nava had 38 at-bats as Boston's leadoff hitter in 2013, batting .289 (11-for-38) with eight runs scored, two doubles, a home run and six RBI.

For Grady Sizemore, Monday is his first MLB action since September 22, 2011.
Dustin Pedroia has a hit in each of the seven Red Sox opening days he's played in dating back to 2007, hitting .393 (11-for-28) with two home runs, two doubles and five RBI.
This will be Jon Lester's fourth opening day start for Boston, and fourth straight. He is 15-3 with a 2.94 ERA in 25 career starts against the Orioles and 8-1 with a 2.99 ERA in 13 career starts in Baltimore.
The Red Sox go against Chris Tillman, who was 16-7 with a 3.71 ERA in 33 starts for Baltimore in 2013.
