Red Sox Offer Arbitration To Ortiz, Wheeler
BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Red Sox have offered salary arbitration to David Ortiz and Dan Wheeler.
If Ortiz wants to sign elsewhere, the Red Sox get two draft picks. If Wheeler signs somewhere else they get one draft pick.
Jason Varitek, JD Drew, Eric Bedard and Tim Wakefield were not offered arbitration.
