Middlebrooks Drives In 8 Runs For PawSox
BOSTON (CBS) - Red Sox third baseman Will Middlebrooks had a record night in Pawtucket on Wednesday night, matching a PawSox franchise record with eight RBIs.
Middlebrooks, in his seventh game in Triple-A since being optioned last month, went 4-for-5 in Pawtucket's 11-5 win over Scranton/Wilkes-Barre -- the New York Yankees' Triple-A affiliate.

After lining out in his first at-bat, Middlebrooks had a pair of home runs -- a three-run blast and a grand slam -- to go with an RBI double and a single.

Middlebrooks is now batting .333 with four home runs, 13 RBI in his seven games with Pawtucket. With the Red Sox this season, he hit just .192 (39-for-203) with nine homers and 25 RBIs in 53 games played.
