Red Sox Jenks Heading To Pawtucket For Rehab Outings
BOSTON (CBS) -Red Sox reliever Bobby Jenks is making his final steps to returning from the disabled list.

Jenks will pitch an inning for Triple-A Pawtucket on Friday and Sunday, manager Terry Francona said before the Red Sox game against the Detroit Tigers. The right-hander has been on the DL since May 5 with strained biceps, but could return next week without any setbacks.

Jenks got off to a rocky start with the Red Sox before the injury, allowing nine earned runs in just 8 2/3rds innings pitched. He has allowed 13 hits while walking nine.
