Red Sox Begin Series with A's
The Red Sox will begin a three-game series with the Athletics tonight at Fenway Park. The Sox had Monday off after an 8-1 win over the Royals on Sunday. The team has won seven of their last nine games. At 29-23 The Red Sox are 5 games back in the American League East and in fourth place. John Lackey will get the start for the Sox.
