Red Sox Announce 2014 Regular Season Schedule
BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Red Sox are closing out their 2013 schedule and looking ahead to the postseason, but the schedule makers are already looking ahead to 2014.
The Red Sox, in conjunction with Major League Baseball, announced their 2014 regular season schedule on Tuesday, and will once again get their things started on the road.

The Red Sox will open their 2014 regular season on Monday, March 31, in Baltimore, marking the fourth straight season they've started their season away from Fenway Park.
But they won't be away from home for long. After their three-game set with the Orioles, the Red Sox return to Fenway for six games, beginning Friday, April 4 with a three-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers.The Red Sox have opened their home season against the Brewers only once before – in 1975, en route to the American League Championship.
The New York Yankees visit Fenway Park three times, starting with a mid-week series April 22-24. The rivals return the first weekend in August for three games and then conclude the regular season at Fenway September 26-28.
The Red Sox play more games at Yankee Stadium and at the Rogers Centre in Toronto (10 each) than they do in any other road venue. Following the first match-up in New York April 10-13, the Red Sox visit Yankee Stadium June 27-29 and September 2-4.
The Tampa Bay Rays will bunch six games at Fenway before June 1, then not return until the penultimate series, September 23-25. The Red Sox do not make their first appearance at Tropicana Field until a three-game set from May 23-25, with their final trip to St. Petersburg set for August 29-September 1.

The Red Sox will face teams from the National League Central in Interleague play, with trips to St. Louis, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh. Boston is also scheduled for a series in Atlanta against the Braves, their "natural rival" in the NL.
In addition to the Brewers, the Reds (May 6-7) and Cubs (June 30-July 2) will make trips to Fenway Park during the season.
