Red Sox Activate JD Drew
BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Red Sox activated outfielder J.D. Drew from the 60-day disabled list on Sunday.
Drew is in the Red Sox lineup for Game Two of a double-header against the Yankees, batting seventh and playing right field.
Drew was placed on the 15-day disabled list on July 26 with a left shoulder impingement. He was expected to return earlier this month but broke his finger while on a minor-league rehab assignment.

Drew is hitting .219 with six doubles, one triple, four home runs, 21 RBI, 23 runs in 77 games for the Red Sox this season.
To make room on the 40-man roster, the club recalled outfielder Ryan Kalish from Triple-A Pawtucket and placed him on the 60-day disabled list as he recovers from neck surgery.
