Ready Or Not...Here Comes The Heat

A slightly more refreshing day is on tap today.

Dewpoints will be falling into the 50s. The lower humidity will be in conjunction with plenty of sunshine.  Highs will be flirting with 90F...  lower and middle 80's along the coast as a seabreeze kicks in.

The heat will turn on 'BIG TIME' starting on Wednesday and continue through the end of the week.

Highs on Wednesday will be about 90F, but then, the two hottest days are expected to be on Thursday and Friday when the mercury rises into the middle and upper 90s in the interior... slightly 'cooler' along the immediate coast.

Watch Melissa Mack's forecast:

Models are hinting at a cold front reaching the area on Saturday.

This would provide us with a chance of a few storms then.  This front will open up the gates to a more seasonable, less humid air mass on Sunday.

As long as the timing of the front rings true, highs will remain in the 90s on Saturday, but they will head back down to the 80s on Sunday.
