Rask Wins Seventh Player Award
Tuukka Rask was awarded the 41st annual Seventh Player Award prior to the Bruins' game against the Florida Panthers on Thursday night. This season, Rask has compiled a 19-11-4 record with a 2.02 Goals Against Average, a .929 Save Percentage along with five shutouts. Rask currently leads all NHL goaltenders in Goals Against, ranked tied for first in Save Percentage with Ryan Miller and was tied for seventh in shutouts.
In addition to the Seventh Player Award trophy, Rask will be given $5,000 to donate to the charitable organization of his choice.
