Johnny A. is popular jazz and blues guitarist who lives in Salem, New Hampshire.
He's played with B.B. King and Jeff Beck and he's been nominated for Blues Artist of The Year by The Boston Music Awards.
He spends a lot of time working on the road, as musicians do, but when he came home from a gig over the weekend he found that three of his guitars had been stolen.
Two of them are quite rare and worth a combined $15,000.
"This would be like if you are a contractor and someone stole all of your tools and you couldn't build a house," he told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 Monday.
Johnny is talking to police and is looking for help finding the guitars.
But, he said he will not press charges if the people who took them simply bring them back.
"I don't care. Its like, 'Hey man, you know, you did the wrong thing, man up. Bring me my stuff back and, you know, as far as from my standpoint, I'm not going to file any charges."
Among the guitars stolen - a 1967 Gibson EB-2 bass in a rare burgundy, metallic finish and a Gibson Montana custom advanced jumbo acoustic, one of only 40 pieces made in a sunburst finish.
Anyone with information should call police.
