Randy Moss Placed On Waivers
BOSTON (CBS) - According to the NFL Network the Minnesota Vikings have cut Randy Moss.
The former New England Patriots wide receiver had been traded to the Vikings in October for a third round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.
In the game against the Patriots Moss had just one catch for 8 yards. In the four games with the Vikings, Moss had 13 catches for 174 yards and two touchdowns.
Moss must now go through waivers. Any team can claim him and his contract. He would have to be paid the balance of his $6.4 million dollar base salary. If he goes unclaimed the Vikings will pay the contract even if he signs with a new team as a free agent.
