Randolph Man Accused Of Human Trafficking, Rape
BOSTON (AP) — A Massachusetts man who served a prison sentence for coercing a teenager to prostitution is facing new charges including human trafficking along the East coast.
Attorney General Martha Coakley said 31-year-old Ryan Duntin of Randolph was indicted Tuesday by a statewide grand jury on charges that also include rape, deriving support from prostitution and failing to register as a sex offender.
Coakley said Duntin allegedly recruited women for prostitution, and advertised sex services on websites. He allegedly drove the women to hotels along the Interstate 95 corridor as far south as Maryland, taking the money they earned and threatening them with violence. Coakley said Duntin allegedly raped one of the women.
He was arrested Sept. 23 for probation violation and is held without bail until an Oct. 8 hearing. It's not immediately known if he has an attorney.
