Rain Returns This Weekend
Another sunshiny day is on tap! However, the onshore northeast winds will offset would the warmth that could have been. The highs will reach the lower to middle 50s interior while most coastal plain areas will fail to climb out of the 40s.
A massive storm system, currenly in the Central and Southern Plains, will make its way here late Saturday.
This Weekend: Saturday ... Sunshine->thickening clouds->evening showers w/ highs in near 50F (40s coast). The rain will be heavy at times from 12 midnight through 8am Sunday. Sunday .... Morning rain->afternoon gradual clearing w/ highs near 60F. Rainfall amounts will range between .75"-1.5".
Marathon Monday/Patriot's Day: Mostly sunny with increasing afternoon clouds. WSW winds 10-20 mph. Highs near 60F.
Our next rain maker will affect Southern New England the middle of next week. The timing of the rain is still in question.
