Rain, Rain Is Going Away

This morning will include areas of fog and rain slowly tapering. By the time we reach this afternoon, skies will begin to  brighten, and it's looking like our western viewing area has the best chance of receiveing crepuscular rays of sunshine. Otherwise, highs will be all across the board. Interior sections will reach the low to mid 50s while the Cape and Islands will hover near 60F with slightly falling temperatures this afternoon due to a wind shift.

Weekend Forecast: Saturday will have a bright start, but clouds will fill-in later in the afternoon with a slight chance of showers, especially along coastal Massachusetts. Highs will be near 50F.  Sunday will be partly cloudy with highs in the upper 40s.

*Daylight Saving Time Ends @ 2am Sunday.  Remember to set your clocks BACK one hour before heading to bed Saturday night.

Atlantic Tropical Update:  T.S. Tomas is expected make landfall near western Haiti later today as a hurricane.  Then, it will be headed towards the southeastern Bahamas on Saturday.

***BUS STOP FORECAST:  We want pics of your kids at their bus stop. Please submit your pic along with the name(s) and town to weather@wbztv.com. We'll showcase one pic every morning around 6:15am.

See you Monday!

Melissa :)
