Watch Melissa's forecast

Rain, heavy at times, will hang around southern New England through the day.

Highs will hover in the upper 60's to lower 70's as a strong onshore wind blows.

A general 1-2" rain is expected, but some areas across central and western Mass. may receive 2-4" total.

Flood watches are in effect through this evening for the Berkshires and western Massachusetts.

Tuesday will continue to be dreary.

We'll have mostly cloudy skies (maybe a peek or two of sun) with showers from time to time as an upper level trough slowly weakens and moves eastward.  Highs will return to the middle and upper 70s.

By midweek, we will make a turn for the better!   The sun will shine on Wednesday and Thursday, and high temps will return to the 80's.

Atlantic Tropical Update: Currently, T.S. Gert has max. sustained winds at 60mph and is moving north at 14 mph.

Melissa :)
