Hundreds Of Employees Of Quincy Company Shave Heads For Dana-Farber

"We have 25 or 30 barbers showing up, it's probably going to take all day. I don't know how long it takes to shave 350 heads but I don't think they'll leave until it's done," Chief Operating Officer Rand Currier said.

CEO Rob Hale was the first in line to have his head shaved. His father died of cancer.

Hair from some employees will be donated to Locks of Love, a non-profit organization that re-purposes cut hair of at least 10 inches in length for prosthetics for children undergoing chemotherapy and other treatments to help restore confidence and self-esteem.
