Bullet Fired Through Quincy Apartment Window

QUINCY (CBS) — A Quincy woman called police Tuesday night to report a bullet hole in the window of her Hancock St. apartment.

The woman noticed loose glass when pulling the blinds on her window facing the Neponset River and Dorchester, and called police around 9:30 p.m. Police said the woman was not injured.

State Police received calls of shots fired from under the Dorchester side of the Neponset Bridge around 9:50 p.m., with witnesses reporting three young males present in the area. The suspects' vehicle and a firearm, as well as several shell casings, were found by State Police in the backyard of a home on Walnut Street in Dorchester.

Two male suspects found in the John Paul Park area were taken into custody by State Police, though it is not yet clear if they were charged in connection with the shooting.
