Quiet Times...

While most are still in clean up mode or waiting for the power to come back on like myself, the sensible weather couldn't be better.  It's tough to enjoy knowing all that is and still has to be done to get back to normalcy.  Nonetheless, at least Mother Nature is now cooperating and will continue to through the rest of the workweek.

Clear, dry air providing ample sunshine can be expected again tomorrow...only with less of a pressure gradient a light seabreeze will develop along the coast.  Today's seabreeze had a little bite to it thanks to the colder water that upwelled after Irene but looking at buoy temps we are already in recovery mode...back into the 60s.

High pressure will be anchored to our NE for the end of the week this will provide a cooler flow of air off he Gulf of Maine keeping temps in the low to mid 70s but it will also dry up showers from an approaching front as they travel toward Western NE on Thursday and Friday.
