High pressure is now moving in and will keep the storms away for the next few days.  The cold however will not relent and temps will mostly be in the 20s during the day with overnight lows in the single digits.

That high will begin shifting offshore Wednesday night allowing a storm to work up the East Coast.  There should be enough cold in place for precip to start as snow  but without a locking high to the north rain may work in off the ocean.  The track and intensity are still very much in question so details are still sketchy on the Thursday storm just know that an impactful storm is possible late in the workweek.
