Quiet and Chilly for Several Days...

Still seeing some pretty intense snow showers out there this evening but now that the sun is setting these will gradually dry up and the clouds will begin to clear out.  With the sky becoming clear temps will dip into the 20s and some black ice may form on roads thanks to today's rain / snow showers.

Tomorrow will be a very deceiving day...if you are up early the sky will be all blue but the middle atmosphere is cold and the sun warmed lower layer will rise, moisture will condense into clouds and those clouds will fan out and attain some depth to them creating a few flurries.

Flow will be coming down from Canada for the next several days so temps will struggle to get to 40...nearly 10 degrees below the average high temps.  The one positive will be that the storm track will be suppressed south of us over the weekend meaning rain and snow for the Mid-Atlantic and not us.

Temps will slowly moderate early next week back into the 40s.
