Public Will Be Able To Give Input Before Final Redistricting Vote
BOSTON (CBS) – More will be learned on Tuesday what shape the state takes, when it comes to politics. A joint committee will release the first two maps being proposed for redistricting 160 House seats and 40 Senate seats in Massachusetts.
While not releasing specifics, WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Mark Katic, spoke to one of the co-chairs about what to expect.

Representative Michael Moran (D-Boston) says this will be the first time the public can give input before a final vote.
Minority groups have demanded redistricting reflect their population growth and Moran says they won't be disappointed. Congressional Districts are also being redrawn, that should be released early next month.
