Psychic medium visits Boston's oldest Irish pub to channel messages from the beyond
SOUTH BOSTON - In the spirit of Halloween, WBZ-TV visited Boston's oldest Irish pub to see if psychic medium Spirit Tiff could channel any messages from beyond.
115-year-old pub
In the heart of Boston's South End, you'll find JJ Foley's Cafe, a family-owned business open for 115 years and counting. Mike Foley is the fifth generation to work at the bar.
"So I'm working with my father, my grandfather, my uncles, so it's truly a family-owned and operated bar," said Foley.
From politics to sports, Boston's rich history can be seen on the walls throughout the bar. After all, it's owned by former Boston Mayor Ray Flynn's family.
"You could be sitting down, having a sandwich, having a cold beer and all of a sudden a guy running for president walks in," said Foley.
Positive reassurance from spirits
Psychic medium Tiffany Rice, also known as "Spirit Tiff," paid the bar a visit. You may have seen her viral videos on TikTok, jaw-dropping moments when she says an initial or name that resonates with those she meets.
"I see things, feel things and when I hear a message, it's like someone shouting from a fast-moving car," said Rice.
Rice said positive reassurance from those who've passed is what she hopes people will take away from her work.
"A lot of people come and will be looking for that validation, perhaps loved ones or friends," said Rice.
In Part 2 of WBZ-TV's visit with psychic medium Spirit Tiff, she delivers a message from meteorologist Jacob Wycoff's past.
