Powerball Jackpot Up To $400 Million
BOSTON (CBS) -- The jackpot for this Wednesday's Powerball drawing has now risen to an estimated $400 million, with the cash prize option estimated at $244.8 million.
The jackpot hasn't been hit since November 4, untouched for 17 consecutive drawings. This will be the highest jackpot since a $564.1 million February 11, 2015 drawing, and the highest-ever jackpot remains the $590.5 million drawing won on May 18, 2013.
You can buy tickets for Wednesday's Powerball drawing until 9:45 p.m. that night at any Massachusetts Lottery retailer. Tickets are $2 each. Drawings are held at 10:59 p.m. on every Wednesday and Saturday.
