Police: Woman Used Knife To Threaten Green Line Passengers
BROOKLINE (CBS) - A Boston woman was arrested Wednesday night after passengers on a Green Line train say she used a knife to threaten at least three different men.
Transit police say they were called to Brookline Hills MBTA station around 9:30 p.m.
There, a man told officers he was sitting on the trolley across from Madina Clayton, 52, when Clayton allegedly took out a small folding knife and began opening and closing it, while staring at the man.
He felt uncomfortable, so he stood up to change seats. Police say Clayton responded by pointing the knife at him.
"Are you looking at this mother (expletive)?" she allegedly yelled.
Several witnesses told police that Clayton used the knife to threaten two other men on the train.
No one was hurt.
Clayton is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and was also ticketed for marijuana possession.
