Police ID Victims In Dorchester Triple Murder
BOSTON (CBS) -- Boston Police are identifying three people killed at a house party in Dorchester over the weekend.
The victims are identified as: Brian Tirado, 23, Ana Cruz, 22, and Felix Garcia, 22, all of Dorchester.
Authorities say the triple murder on Intervale Street was likely not random.
The party's hostess spoke to WBZ-TV Monday but did not want to be identified.
She says Cruz helped her plan the party and that it was supposed to be a small gathering, but some uninvited guests showed up.
The woman says when she tried to kick people out of her apartment around 4 a.m., someone started shooting.
"The lights went out and then everybody heard the noise," said the hostess. "Everybody scattered from the back door to the front door."
The resident, whose three daughters were asleep inside the apartment at the time, said she didn't see the shooting.
"I was crying. I've been hiding for three days. I'm scared," the woman told WBZ. "I don't get out. I decided to do something at my house. I was drinking and I was chilling but I didn't mean for anybody to die."
Police say the female victim, Ana Cruz, had 3-year-old twin daughters.
No arrests have been made yet.
Police say they are receiving quality tips and are following leads.
Officers are looking for a maroon or red, older looking Mercury motor vehicle. They did not specify if the vehicle was a sedan or an SUV.
