Police Shoot Man Armed With Knife in NH
SALEM, N.H. (CBS) - An armed man was shot by police officers on a street in Salem, New Hampshire on Thursday.
Salem Police said officers were responding to a report of a man threatening to commit suicide earlier in the morning. When they arrived at the home on South Policy Street, they found a man in the middle of the road with a knife.
As officers approached the man, police said he attacked and officers fired.
The man was taken to Lawrence General Hospital. His current condition is not known.
