Police Search For Suspects, Expect Allston Shooting Victims To Survive
ALLSTON (CBS) - Two men shot in Allston on Friday night are expected to survive, according to Boston police.
Officers arrived at a triple decker on Chester St. at 10:20 p.m. and found the two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
A 23-year old man and a 56-year old man were taken to area hospitals with serious injuries that police describe as "non-life threatening."
A friend of the 23-year old victim says the man was shot in the liver and the arm and is in the intensive care unit.
Investigators continued to go through the home Saturday, but police released little regarding a suspect or a motive.

Neighbors say the violence is rare on a block that is home to many college students and young professionals.
"Just knowing that I had to stay here last night and that happened two doors down is kind of frightening," said Michael Feeney.
"That's not something you hear about happening over here," said 24-year old Nikki Frankel who lives down the street.
Police have not made any arrests in the case.
