Police Search For Franklin Man Accused Of Holding Up Two Dunkin Donuts With Syringe
FRANKLIN (CBS) - Police have issued an arrest warrant for the man they say held up a Dunkin Donuts using a syringe he claimed was filled with AIDS-infected blood.
On Tuesday around 6:17 p.m., police say Gregory Mansur, 23, of Franklin entered Dunkin Donuts on King Street. The man told the employee he wanted money or he would stick the employee with infected blood.
Police say Mansur left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
On Wednesday, police say the same man entered another Dunkin Donuts - this time on East Central Street - and did the same thing. When Mansur demanded money, the employee ran out the back of the store and Mansur left without getting anything.
Police are now looking for Mansur, who was last seen driving a Blue Pontiac Sunfire with the Mass. license plate 655BP7, registered to his wife Amanda. Both have been seen traveling together.
Police say they will charge Mansur with armed robbery while masked, assault with a dangerous weapon and assault to rob while armed.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mansur or his wife can call the Franklin Police Department Detective Division at 508-528-1212.
