Police: Rocker Robbed Attleboro Pharmacy Hours Before Show At Comcast Center
ATTLEBORO (CBS) - The bassist for national rock band Coheed and Cambria is behind bars, accused of holding up an Attleboro pharmacy Sunday afternoon.
Police say 30-year-old Michael Todd walked into a Walgreens, showed employees a note on his phone that said he had a bomb, and demanded pills.
Todd, who's from Anaheim, California allegedly made off with six bottles of painkillers.
The robbery happened just hours before the band was scheduled to play the Comcast Center in Mansfield.
Coheed and Cambria was the opening act for Soundgarden.

The band did take the stage without Todd. Fans at the Comcast Center say they were surprised by the news.
"I was really shocked to be honest," said one fan. "That just doesn't seem like him."
Coheed has released five CDs and sold over 2 million copies worldwide.
"That is kind of shocking," said another Coheed fan. "I didn't think any of them were like that."
Police say someone recognized Todd getting into a cab shortly after the robbery and they were able to tack him back to the Comcast Center where he was arrested.
Todd was due to face a judge Monday morning on charges of armed robbery and unlawful possession of prescription narcotics.
