Police Release Video Of 'Person Of Interest' In Connection To Dorchester Armed Robberies
BOSTON (CBS) -- Boston police released surveillance video Saturday of a "person of interest" in connection with multiple armed robberies in Dorchester in late September.
Officers were called to four separate armed robberies in the area of Ditson, Leroy and Ridgewood streets between 10 p.m. and 10:20 p.m. on Sept. 27, according to the police department's blog.
Victims told police they were approached by a black man, standing 5-foot-10-to-6-foot-2-inches tall with braids in his hair, and he was wearing a red shirt and khaki pants. The man allegedly demanded money and told the victims he would stab them if they didn't.
Police say they are trying to identify the man shown in the video, which was captured in the Ditson Street area. Investigators are also looking into similarities between the man and a person of interest allegedly involved in a sexual assault in Dorchester on the same date.
