Police Release Surveillance Photos Of Man Wanted In Jamaica Plain Armed Robberies
BOSTON (CBS) - Police have released surveillance photos of the man they believe robbed two people, including a teacher, at gunpoint last week.
On Wednesday night, a suspect described as a black man in his 20's, about 5-feet-8 inches to 6-feet-1 inches tall, medium build and wearing a hoodie made his way to the second floor of the Eliot School of Fine and Applied Arts.
According to police, he showed a gun and demanded the teacher's wallet and cell phone.
On Thursday, there was a second robbery on Eliot Street.
During that robbery, police say the suspect showed a weapon and demanded a man's wallet, cell phone and ATM password.
The suspect told the victim not to give him the wrong password because he had his license and knows where he lives.
About an hour later, the suspect used the ATM card to withdraw money from an ATM on Blue Hill Avenue. Police canvassed the area but did not find the suspect.
