Police Pepper Spray, Arrest Man Trying To Enter NH High School
HOLLIS, N.H. (CBS) – A young man was pepper-sprayed and arrested after trying to enter a high school in New Hampshire Wednesday morning.
Police say 21-year-old Eric Geller of Hollis had been warned in the past to stay away from Hollis Brookline High School, but he came back around 6 a.m.
An employee saw him and called police.
When an officer arrived, authorities say Geller resisted arrest, and she was forced to use pepper spray to subdue him.
Geller was charged with criminal trespass, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, all misdemeanors.
He was released on $1,500 bail.
He will be arraigned in Nashua District Court on March 21.
Police told WBZ-TV there was "no legitimate reason" for Geller to be at the school.
They say he mentioned something about wanting to "teach students," but it didn't make much sense.
