Police: Peeping Tom Spent Two Days Hiding Underneath Trailer Home
SALEM, N.H. (CBS) - A Cape Cod man is facing several disturbing charges after investigators say he spent two days living underneath the bathroom of a trailer home so he could spy on and videotape the woman living there.
Salem police said the victim spotted Christian Hobbs, 44, of Orleans, peering up from an air duct in the bathroom floor of her home Wednesday evening.

"I thought there was animal in my house and I went to go surveil the area," she said. "And that's when he revealed himself."
According to police, Hobbs simply said "hello" when he was discovered.
The woman immediately called 911. Responding officers found Hobbs walking down a nearby street.
"I did it, it was me under the trailer," police said he told them.
The victim's mother Sharon, tells WBZ that Hobbs had lived in the mobile home for several years before selling it to her daughter. She says he had a reputation for strange sexual behavior but he told them he had gotten help. She saw him running away from the trailer Wednesday night after her daughter called for help. "I think he's a pervert. He's crazy," she says.
Hobbs had done work on the trailer two weeks ago and he actually sold trailer to the victim a couple of years ago.
Police said that while Hobbs was doing that recent work on the trailer, he secretly installed two baby monitors in the home.
Officers say Hobbs later returned, snuck under the trailer, and cut holes in the floor and the floor vent under the bathroom.
He admitted to authorities that he spent nearly two days under the trailer with food, beverages, and tissues, while observing and taping the victim when she was in the bathroom.
Police recovered a total of 16 one-minute videos of the woman. Some included shots of the woman's toddler son in the nude.
Hobbs is charged with prowling, criminal mischief, violation of privacy, unlawful wiretapping, manufacture of child porn, criminal trespassing, and burglary.
He was arraigned Thursday and ordered held on $25,000 bail.
