Police Officer Spots Fire, Warns Residents In Manchester, NH
MANCHESTER, NH (CBS) - A Manchester, New Hampshire police officer out on patrol early Sunday morning came across a burning home and managed to alert residents.
Flames tore through a nine unit building on Barr Street around 2 a.m.
According to the incident report from Manchester Fire, that officer who was driving by and noticed smoke coming from the building.
Everyone managed to get out safely.
Responding firefighters managed to put out the flames, but the building was deemed uninhabitable. A total of 20 Adults and 10 children were displaced.
The cause is under investigation. Investigators are looking at the possibility of "some type of electrical event."
