Police Make Arrest In 2010 Murder Of Nantucket Woman

NANTUCKET (CBS) --- An arrest has been made three years after the murder of a pregnant woman from Nantucket.

District Attorney Michael O'Keefe announced Tuesday, Quoizel L. Wilson, 35, of Boston has been indicted for the murder of Trudie Hall, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and unlawful disposal of a body in connection with the death.

Wilson was arrested in Chelsea, Tuesday. He is being held without bail pending his arraignment in Barnstable District Court.

Quoizel is believed to have been the father of Hall's unborn child.

Hall, then 23, was reported missing by her mother on July 28, 2010 to the Yarmouth Police.

The next day, Barnstable Police located the car Hall rented when she came over to the mainland from Nantucket. There was blood and bullet casings inside the car.

In April 2012, skeletal remains, later identified as Hall, were found in Falmouth.

Police have long suspected Wilson, who had been questioned in the past.

"I'm quite curious to see what it is that they are suggesting occurred over the past year or better that leads to the indictment today," Wilson's attorney Robert Galibois told WBZ-TV Tuesday.

Wilson is being held by State Police and is expected to be transferred to Cape Cod for his arraignment on murder charges.
