Police Investigate Daytime Home Invasion In Mont Vernon, NH
MONT VERNON, NH (CBS) - Mont Vernon and New Hampshire State Police are investigating a home invasion that happened Thursday afternoon.
State Police say a masked man with a handgun broke into a home on Brook Road around 3 p.m. and assaulted a woman inside the house.
That victim was taken to the hospital, but police say her injuries do not appear serious.
State Police and Mont Vernon police conducted a search for the suspect, but were unable to find him.
Investigators said they do not believe the public is in any danger.
