Police Investigate Apparent Murder-Suicide In Lowell
LOWELL (CBS) – Police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide in Lowell. At about 5:00 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to a 911 call for a reported death at a home on Featherston Avenue.
Officers found a 76-year-old man who had been shot and the man's 79-year-old wife, who apparently shot herself.
The names of the man and woman have not been released. Investigators say there is no threat to the public.
