Police Hunt For Portsmouth, NH Bank Robber
PORTSMOUTH, NH (CBS) – Police are releasing surveillance pictures of a man who robbed a bank in Portsmouth on Saturday.
Officers say the man robbed the People's United Bank on Islington Street at 11:09 a.m.
The suspect is mid-to-late twenties with blue eyes and a scruffy, unshaven face.
Witnesses say he was wearing tan pants and tan sneakers, a black, puffy jacket with hood, and a hunting style hat with side flaps pulled down.
Police say the hat has a plaid or checkered style print.
Investigators are also looking for an older gold Ford Escort or Focus sedan, which witnesses saw near the bank. They say the car may have been involved in the robbery.
