"In my heart, I feel like she's still alive and she's out there, and I'm not gonna stop looking until we find her," said Anthony Harrison of Gloucester.
Caleigh Anne Harrison was last seen on Long Beach April 19 playing with her mother and 4-year-old sister.
Her mother says she turned away for about two minutes to pick up a ball and Caleigh was gone when she came back.
"I have a gut feeling she's not in the water, but I don't know if that's my heart, because I love her so much, that's she's still alive," said Harrison. "They haven't found her yet, and until they find her, there's still a chance that she's out there and that's what we're going on."
Caleigh's relatives believe she may have been abducted, but State police say there is no evidence she was a victim of a crime.
As a result, divers combed the water off the coast of Rockport one final time Thursday for any sign of Caleigh.
"They have been searching since 7 o'clock this morning using divers and side-scan sonar. The side-scan sonar had detected a couple of anomalies under the water, which we then dove on and checked out, and it turned out to be just routine objects," said Dave Procopio, a spokesperson for Mass. State Police.
The search was called off before 3 p.m. No more searches are planned unless new evidence is found.
Caleigh's relatives are circulating her picture on flyers, hoping someone has seen her in the last week.
"She was just so special and her smile lit up the room," said Harrison. "She's just a good, good little girl and we miss her dearly and we want her back."
