Police: 15-Year-Old Drowns At Tyngsborough School's Swimming Pool
TYNGSBOROUGH (CBS/AP) - Police are investigating the drowning death of a 15-year-old at Greater Lowell Technical High School.
A preliminary investigation indicates the teen's death is accidental, authorities said.
Tyngsborough Deputy Police Chief Richard Howe said emergency workers were dispatched to the school at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday. Howe said officers and firefighters performed CPR, but the boy was pronounced dead after being rushed to Lowell General Hospital.
The police chief said the teen was found unconscious in the swimming pool.

A spokeswoman for the Middlesex District Attorney's Office said the drowning appeared to be accidental and the victim was a student at the school.
Authorities didn't immediately release the teenager's name.
Greater Lowell Tech is one of the biggest technical schools in the country, with two dozen technical programs.
